Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to VB Catering Services. By accessing and using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. Booking and Reservation Terms

Down Payment: A 50% down payment is required to confirm your reservation. Without this payment, your booking will not be considered confirmed.

Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be paid after the event has concluded.

Payment Deadline: Reservations without a down payment at least 1 week before the event date will be automatically cancelled without prior notice.

Priority Booking: If two or more clients request the same date and time, the reservation will be given to the client who completes the down payment first.

Event Modifications: Any changes to your booking (date, time, guest count, menu selections) must be communicated at least 3 days before the event date.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Refunds are only applicable if the cancellation request is made at least 3 days (72 hours) before the scheduled event date.

• Cancellations made less than 3 days before the event will forfeit the entire down payment.

• Refund processing may take 7-14 business days to reflect in your account.

• In case of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, medical emergencies), please contact us directly to discuss possible arrangements.

5. Service Duration and Additional Charges

Standard Service Time: The base service time is 4 hours, starting from the booked event time.

Overtime Charges: Any service time exceeding the standard 4 hours will incur an additional charge of ₱150 per hour per waiter.

Equipment and Materials: All catering equipment, utensils, and materials remain the property of VB Catering Services.

Damages and Missing Items: The client will be charged for any missing or damaged items at replacement cost. An itemized list of equipment will be provided before and after the event.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about the event venue, including access details and any special requirements.

• Ensure the venue has adequate facilities for our staff to prepare and serve food safely.

• Inform us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requirements at least 5 days before the event.

• Provide a safe working environment for our staff during the event.

• Communicate the final guest count at least 2 days before the event date.

7. Service Provider Rights

VB Catering Services reserves the right to:

• Refuse service to any client who violates these terms or engages in abusive behavior toward our staff.

• Modify menu items based on seasonal availability, with prior notice to the client.

• Cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), with full refund of payments made.

• Update pricing and service packages with reasonable advance notice.

8. Food Safety and Quality

• We follow strict food safety and hygiene standards in preparation and service.

• All food is prepared fresh for each event using high-quality ingredients.

• We cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions if dietary restrictions were not properly communicated in advance.

• Any leftover food becomes the property of the client after the event concludes.

9. Limitation of Liability

• VB Catering Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question.

• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

• The client agrees to indemnify VB Catering Services against any claims arising from the client's breach of these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

• All content on our platform, including logos, designs, text, and images, are the property of VB Catering Services.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our platform without written permission.

• We may use photos or videos from your event for promotional purposes unless you explicitly opt out.

11. Data Privacy

Your personal information is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using our services, you consent to such collection and use of your information.

12. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

• If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Philippine law.

• These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

• You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team.

• Upon termination, any outstanding payments remain due and payable.
